Meet the NEW Freedom Foils!

From the beginning, our mission has been focused on building products with unrivaled quality and craftsmanship. We started with foil boards and soon thereafter introduced wind wings, foot straps and a line of essential accessories.

Although our attention has been concentrated on the gear above water, we know the ultimate freedom experience wouldn’t be complete without focusing on what’s happening beneath it. Our family of team riders and engineers have been relentlessly innovating behind the scenes and are more than thrilled to introduce our first Freedom Foil.

The foundation for any great foil is the core connection between mast and fuselage. Starting here and ensuring this integral and bombproof connection was in place, we shifted our focus to prototyping a range of front and rear wings. Through a series of endless testing and refinements, we’re proud to launch with a set of two front wings, the Halcyon 1030 and the Phoenix 1085.

This is just the beginning for the Freedom Foil. With many new prototypes already in the mix, our goal is to promptly and consistently launch a range of new Freedom Foil wings and accessories so that every Freedom Foil customer has a vast array of finely tuned products to choose from.

The Freedom Foil has been years in the making. We are confident it will be the perfect complement to our growing line of products that are recognized for setting the standard in premium foiling equipment.

The Halcyon 1030 is the perfect user friendly mid / high aspect front wing. Its unique blend of foil section, aspect ratio and outline allows for a well balanced and extremely predictable mid aspect feel, combined with the superior glide found in high aspect wings. This refined combination provides for a smooth high end glide, mixed with the benefits of a low end and stable stall speed makes the Halcyon 1030 a very suitable wing for a wide range of users across a diverse scope of ability levels. Whether you’re looking for a high-speed step up foil for Winging or a way to take your prone foil game to the next level, the Halcyon makes an excellent choice as a well rounded foil wing.

The Phoenix 1085 is engineered for down the line speed for balanced and dynamic carves. Whether it’s behind a boat or being whipped into head high swells, this wing is designed to perform as a playful and responsive tow foil. In addition to high-speed performance as a tow wing, the Phoenix 1085 is an excellent addition to any quiver for all Wing or Kite foilers looking for that loose responsive feel. If tight tow carves are your thing, the Phoenix foil wing is for you!

The 230 tail wing is the catch-all tail wing that works in any condition. Providing just enough lift to complement any front wing and make the foil feel comfortable and friendly out of the gate. With just enough wing tip curve to make it feel stable yet loose, the 230 is the gateway tail wing for Freedom and a must have for all abilities.

Our fuselage is a solid continuous design to ensure the most direct contact between all the foil components. There is no energy loss between the front and tail wing due to our 7075 Aluminum, fiberglass wrapped core giving a lightweight and stiff foundation to drive performance through the entire foil. 3K Carbon lamination keeps the fuselage light yet bombproof with stainless steel inserts to prevent corrosion.

Understanding the importance between the connection of board and foil was our starting point when building the Freedom mast. From there we tested materials and designs to ensure our mast was light, stiff and had a bomb-proof connection system. Next we honed in on a sleek and tapered profile that allows our mast to cut efficiently through water while maintaining a rigid relation between your feet and foil. The slide-through opening grants a seamless connection to our tapered fuselage. This solid fit provides for an instant transfer of power between front and stabilizer wings and gives your flight the responsive feel required for high performance foiling.
